Module 2 — Neurodivergence & the Body

Reading Neurodivergent Body Patterns

33 min read

Pattern recognition is the core clinical skill. In this lesson, you'll learn to read the postural and tissue patterns most commonly associated with neurodivergent presentations — not to diagnose, but to inform your touch decisions and your session sequencing.

We'll work through case examples and develop the observational vocabulary that separates an informed NeuralTouch practitioner from a generalist who has simply been told to "be gentler."

Key Concepts

  • The forward head / compressed chest pattern and its ANS implications
  • Posterior chain bracing in ADHD presentations
  • Hypermobility markers and how they change force decisions
  • The intake conversation: what to ask, what to listen for
