The Five Principles of NeuralTouch
Before we get to specific techniques, we establish the principles that govern all NeuralTouch work. These aren't rules — they're the reasoning behind every touch decision you'll make. Understanding the principles means you can adapt technique in the moment rather than following a script that doesn't fit the client in front of you.
1. Minimum Effective Dose — Use the least pressure that produces a response. More is not more.
2. Follow, Don't Lead — Wait for tissue to release before moving. Forcing creates resistance.
3. Nervous System First — Your first job is to establish safety. Technique follows trust.
4. Slow Is Speed — The slower your movements, the faster tissue responds.
5. Name What You're Doing — Narrating your touch keeps neurodivergent clients in their bodies and builds trust.
